Today's question in Capitol Hill is how
both parties will handled the clash over the fate of Dreamers and risk to
trigger a government shutdown this coming December 2017.
In a recent post,
Politico knowledge that House conservatives have warned Speaker Paul Ryan to keep
separated the immigrants issues and the spending bill that should be approved
before December 8.
Another question would be
if Democratic Leaders Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California and Sen. Chuck Schumer of
New York go along with their party and keep withhold votes from the spending
bill.
Therefore, immigration
negotiations could be delayed into 2018 and save the Deferred Action for Childhood
Arrivals program in order to keep hope for young Dreamers.
For now, the only thing
seems clear is that Ryan, Pelosi, Schumer, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch
McConnell are discussing a short-term government-funding extension.
